XeanVI is a rule-driven trading automation platform for retail day traders who want to stick to a plan instead of trading on emotion. You choose your bankroll, risk per trade, scan mode, and stocks to skip, then test in paper mode. Connect your Alpaca account (the online brokerage that holds your money), and XeanVI scans, checks each setup against fixed rules, and places paper trades for you.
XeanVI was built by Troy Swartwood, the founder and a software engineer who experienced firsthand how hard it is to consistently execute a trading plan under market pressure. His background is in software and systems engineering, not financial advisory. He is not a licensed financial adviser, and XeanVI is trading-automation software, not investment advice. The platform exists so you can see each step of a trade and test it on paper first. For now, every order is paper.

Meet Xean, the AI trading analyst inside XeanVI
Xean is XeanVI's built-in AI analyst, powered by Claude (Anthropic). After every scan, Xean explains the setup in plain English: why it passed or was blocked, what each part of the score means, and what to watch next. You don't have to ask.
Xean also answers questions about your latest scan results, open positions, P&L (profit and loss), trade history, and market conditions. It uses your own account data, not generic market commentary. Choose from 5 analyst personalities: Neutral, Aggressive, Conservative, Quant, and Skeptic.

- Create your account. A free account gives you the dashboard, scan previews (the top 3 results), and Xean AI. You don't need a broker connection to start.
- Choose your settings. Set bankroll, risk per trade, scan mode, and skipped stocks. Stops and loss caps are fixed.
- Test in paper mode. Run real market scans with simulated money, with the same gate checks, scores, and Xean AI analysis. Every trade is paper for now.
- Connect your broker. Link your Alpaca account via OAuth (a secure sign-in on Alpaca's own site) when you're ready. Funds stay at Alpaca, and XeanVI only places orders within the permissions you grant.
- Learn it in paper first. Live trading is off for every account right now. XeanVI runs the same fixed checks every time, so you don't have to fight your own decisions under pressure.
